Health IT Adoption Specialist

Under direction of the Vice President, the Health IT Adoption Specialist is responsible for working with physicians and clinicians to help them adopt HIXNY’s secure, electronic service for exchanging health information among hospitals and doctors in the Capital Region and Northern NY as well as its other service offerings such as electronic prescribing. This individual will also support HIXNY’s end users by conducting frequent in person visits, implementation planning meetings, creating account plans and training sessions. The Adoption Specialist will be an important point of contact for end user support and service.
