Chairman Louis S. Snitkoff, MD, FACP
Dr. Louis Snitkoff is a board certified Internist and a founding member of CapitalCare Medical Group, a large primary care practice with over 70 physicians and 20 sites. Dr. Snitkoff now serves as medical director and oversees medical services and quality initiatives. As medical director, he initiated the ancillary clinical services department which provides services in medical nutrition therapy, comprehensive diabetes education, and bone density testing. In addition to chairman, Dr. Snitkoff serves as a member of the executive, finance, membership, technology, planning, governance and legal committees.
Vice Chairman John Collins, MD, FACP
Dr. John Collins is the Chief Medical Officer for Northeast Health Systems, a continuum of healthcare, supportive housing and community services located in the Capital District of New York State. A board certified General Internist, Dr. Collins has over 18 years of experience as a primary care physician as well as a variety of administrative roles. His leadership responsibilities have included leading a 120 physician mulit-specialty group practice and Medical Director responsibilities at health plans in both Massachusettes and New York. At Northeast Health, Dr. Collins responsibilities include oversight of quality across both the Acute Care and Long Term Care divisions of the system.
Treasurer Bridget Walsh
Bridget Walsh is a senior policy associate for the Schuyler Center for Analysis and Advocacy where her work encompasses all aspects of health including public health, Medicade and the uninsured. Ms. Walsh also serves on the executive Committee and the finance Committee.
Secretary Jerry Salkowe, M.D.
Dr. Jerry Salkowe is Vice President for Clinical Quality Improvement at MVP Health Care. He is Clinical Associate Professor for the SUNY School of Public Health and Clinical Assistant Professor for Albany Medical College. He serves as Medical Director for AIM Services, a not-for-profit agency providing services to developmentally disabled individuals in Saratoga and surrounding counties.
CEO Dominick A. Bizzarro
Dominick A. Bizzarro was appointed CEO of HIXNY in December 2007. He had held leadership positions in technology and health care including vice president of business and product development at PharMerica, president of Integrail Health Information Management, and vice president of sales and marketing at nfrastructure Technologies. He holds an MBA in Health Systems from Union Graduate College and a BS in Pharmacy from Albany College of Pharmacy.
Vice President Scott Momrow
Scott Momrow is responsible for managing operations, member outreach and vendor management. Prior to being named Vice President, Momrow worked with HIXNY as an independent product consultant. Previously he was Vice President of Sales and Marketing for nfrastructure Technologies; held several management positions with National Medical Health Card Systems, Inc. including Vice President of Strategic Data Management Services; and served as Director of Solutions Consulting and Regional Sales Director for Integrail. Momrow earned a Master’s of Public Health degree from the State University of New York at Albany and a Bachelor’s degree in biology from Siena College.
CTO Joel T. Ryba
Joel Ryba serves as Chief Technology Officer of HIXNY. His prior executive experience includes appointments as an IT Director with the State of New York for business intelligence and data sharing programs, Vice President of IT for The Grandoe Corporation, a multinational consumer packaged goods firm, Software Development Manager for Mercatus, a division of Health Solutions, and Manager of IT for Amsterdam Printing, a global business to business direct marketer. Prior to entering an IT management career, Joel owned his own consulting firm through which he contracted his services to IBM and Fidelity Investments. He holds an MBA from the University at Albany and a BS in Computer Science from Empire State College.
