HIXNY is one of many Regional Health Information Organizations (RHIOs) serving health care providers and their patients around the country. It gives health care providers tools to share essential information when and where they need it to best serve their patients. HIXNY helps providers deliver quality care while reducing inefficiency and the cost of unnecessary services.

HIXNY is a single, highly secure resource for finding medication history, lab reports and radiology results, and for e-Prescribing. Other information such as allergies and hospital admission/discharge reports will also be available through the exchange.
