ALBANY, N.Y. – Hixny connected five organizations to the community-wide health information network (HIN) in September, further expanding the availability of patient records to the statewide healthcare community and to individual healthcare consumers.

These recent additions to Hixny’s network represent all corners of healthcare, including primary care, behavioral health, specialty care and care coordination.

The new connections are:

  • Albany Family Medicine
  • Clinton County Mental Health and Addiction Services
  • Pan Dermatology
  • Unity House, serving Rensselaer County
  • Wynantskill Family Medical Practice

Each new connection is contributing data using Consolidated-Clinical Document Architecture (C-CDA)—the industry standard format for exchanging clinical information.
